Catholic Worship Online

At the heart of Catholic Worship Online is a desire to rediscover and reclaim the worship of the Church in the expression of music.

The Church has a rich, beautiful, and varied history when it comes to musical worship, but there can often be a lot of disagreement about what “type” of music or worship is “authentically Catholic.” As a community of worship leaders, we hope to come to the deeper understanding that true Catholic worship is not “traditional,” “contemporary,” “charismatic,” or “contemplative.” Rather, it is all of these things and more — authentic Catholic worship, centered on the encounter of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, defies, combines, and transcends any particular “genre” of worship.

The goal of the Catholic Worship Blog is to bring Catholic musicians and worship leaders together, in order to provide them with quality musical, theological, and spiritual materials to help them grow in their ministries and to give them the opportunity to call one another on to deeper worship and leadership.

At the Catholic Worship blog, you will find:

Instructional video tutorials of songs or techniques

Podcasts and interviews centered on discussions of understanding and leading worship
Informative articles and reflections on topics relevant to worship leaders

Forums where worship leaders can come together to discuss song choices, past experience, and share their encouragement and wisdom with one another.

This ministry includes the following components: podcast, videos, eBook, speakers, musicians, community, & blog

The Veritas Project.org

Our Mission
Our mission is to assist Catholic teachers, parents, and students of religion to discover the splendor and truth of the Catholic Church by providing authentic Catholic teaching and resources in a clear, easily accessible, and convenient manner. We strive to assist educators, parents, and children to prepare themselves spiritually and academically to be active members in the Body of Christ.
Our Philosophy
The Catholic Church’s call for evangelization is the reason for our educational services. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the source of all Christian life, and the unseen but ever-present Teacher who guides our staff. The Catholic Church acknowledges every Catholic’s right to the best Catholic education possible. We welcome the responsibility to achieve this goal. We strive to live the mission of Jesus and His Church to form a community of believers and to teach the redeeming message of God’s love by inviting everyone into a life-giving relationship that challenges each person to become a unique member of the Catholic community who respects and appreciates others as part of God’s Creation. We exist to provide a quality educational service to fellow educators, to parents, to children, and to students of religion, enabling them to become better Catholics who are well-equipped to serve the Church and the community.

The Multitude

I’m the director of a new Catholic short film project called The Multitude that tells the stories of the saints in a modern and exciting way. We like to call our films “modern icons”. We are fundraising the project at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/garygasse/the-multitude. I thought you might be interested in taking a look at it. If you have any insight you might have regarding promotion or direction we’d really appreciate it. Our website is www.jointhemultitude.com.

We’re looking for all the exposure we can get!

Thanks for your time!

In Christ,
Gary Gasse

The Catholics Next Door

On SiriusXM channel 129. I am so glad I found this station and you guys. I drive a lot for work and really love your show and others as well on 129.

Catholic Answers Live

This is a 2 hour call in program, which is on local Catholic radio outlets, broadcast on the internet, and Sirius XM. This is considered by many to be a premiere outlet for new-media apologetics and evangelization. Because of my work schedule, I am unable to hear it live, but the podcasts are generally posted quickly. I find that this has contributed greatly to my faith formation. As I learned in nursing school, “You don’t know what you don’t know until you know it”. I still don’t know much, but I’m learning.
